Expressive Arts Coaching & Consultation
Expressive arts practices invite us to engage imagination, the body, and the senses as ways of making meaning from our experiences. In coaching sessions, creative processes are used alongside reflective dialogue to explore what is emerging in one's life.
This work may be supportive for individuals navigating life transitions, creative blocks, identity exploration, grief, or periods of personal change. Rather than focusing on outcomes or artistic skill, the emphasis is on curiosity, reflection, and the insights that can emerge through creative expression.
In addition to individual coaching, consultation is available for facilitators, educators, and community practitioners who are developing their own creative workshops, programs, or community offerings and would like guidance in integrating expressive arts approaches.

Expressive Arts is a creative approach that uses practices like drawing, writing, collage, storytelling, and movement as ways to explore thoughts, emotions, and life experiences.
Many things in life can be difficult to fully express through conversation alone. Creative practices can help bring forward images, feelings, and insights that may not immediately come through words. In expressive arts work, the focus is not on artistic skill or creating a finished product. Instead, creativity becomes a way to reflect, explore meaning, and connect with parts of ourselves that may need attention or care.
No artistic experience is needed to participate.

Sessions are hosted virtually via video call and typically last about 50 minutes, though timing can be adjusted depending on individual needs and preferences.
Each session includes a combination of dialogue and guided creative exploration. You may be invited to work with simple materials such as paper, pens, or objects you already have at home. Creative prompts might include drawing, reflective writing, working with images, mindfulness and movement exercises, or other forms of expression.
At times the session may focus more on conversation, while other sessions may include more creative exploration. The pace is collaborative and responsive to what feels most supportive in the moment.
Sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform to support privacy and confidentiality.
